RRR: Hollywood Action Choreographer Nick Powell Joins SS Rajamouli’s Team

South superstars Ram Charan and Jr NTR have come together for SS Rajamouli’s period drama RRR. The movie is based on the life of two legendary freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The actors are busy shooting the climax in Hyderabad. As per recent reports, a popular Hollywood stunt choreographer has joined the team for its climax shoot in the city of pearls.

As reported by sources, the makers of RRR have roped in Hollywood action director Nick Powell. The popular stunt co-ordinator will choreograph the climax action sequence, in which Ram Charan and Jr NTR are participating. The news was confirmed by the makers who shared a clip on social media.

The viral video clip showcases SS Rajamouli discussing some scenes with Nick Powell for RRR’ climax action episode.

Nick Powell is known for his Hollywood films such as Bourne Series, Braveheart, Gladiator, X-Men and Resident Evil. He has also choreographed some spectacular stunts in Indian big-budget films such as 2.0, Manikarnika and Radhe Shyam.

Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR is made on a lavish budget of Rs 400 crores. It also features Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson in pivotal roles. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on 13th October Worldwide.
