The official trailer for Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming horror-comedy, Roohi was unleashed on Wednesday featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma in a never before seen avatars. The trailer has been garnering good reviews all across. With this netizens are also looking forward for the release of interesting horror movies from Bollywood. Roohi

As revealed in the trailer of Roohi, this Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma starrer horror-comedy is somewhere related to the Maddock Films’ Stree. And the producer also recent confessed about planning to create an horror films universe. After getting kidnapped, Janhvi gets possessed by a ghost, who abducts brides from their honeymoons. The trailer is quite hilarious as well as its edgy. The film is directed by Kaamyaab fame, Hardik Mehta. It is releasing on March 11, 2021.

Chhori

Nushrat Bharucha who is known for doing rom-com’s will be seen in Chhori exploring the horror genre and she had also released an intriguing poster for this film. It is a remake of renowned Marathi film, titled, ‘Lapachhapi’ and the plot of the film takes us to the story which is set backdrop of age-old societal beliefs and practices that give rise to tales of pure terror.

Bhoot Police

Saif Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ali Fazal are collaborating for this upcoming horror film. Although nothing much about the plot of Bhoot Police is revealed as of yet, it is hailed as an highly anticipated film. It is being helmed by Pavan Kriplani and it is apparently set in the backdrop of hunting two ghost hunters.

Phone Bhoot

Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter starrer Phone Bhoot was announced last year in July. This film is being helmed by Gurmmeet Singh and the plot is apparently set in the backdrop of hunting the ghosts. The three of the leads have interesting roles. It is being co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and it is slated to be released this year.

Rosie: The Saffron Chapter

Vivek Oberoi and Palak Tiwari starrer Rosie: The Saffron Chapter is reportedly inspired by real horror story. The movie is set in the backdrop of a call center from where a girl goes missing. The film was announced last year during the lockdown and it reportedly hit floor in October last year. The film is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2021.
