Ronnie Screwvala to launch a new web series on netflix

Ronnie Screwvala has been producing some great films like ‘Uri’ and ‘Sonchiriya‘ and more under his banner RSVP. The producer is set to produce another web series on Netflix for adults.

The series is based in a post-apocalyptic world where humans have gone extinct due to their follies. Now animals are ruling the world but are making the same mistakes as humans.

Through the adventures of four anthropomorphic vigilantes, there is an attempt to redefine animation. Ronnie Screwvala says as said to Zeenews, “I’ve always been inspired by (animator) Ram Mohan and (cartoonist) R.K Laxman, by the voice they stood for and still stand for in our society. Our goal here is to create an innovative and disruptive voice within the digital landscape”.

The producer had previously ventured into the digital platform with the film ‘Love per square foot’ starring Vicky Kaushal and Angira Dhar in the lead roles. The film struck a chord with the audience while in the comfort of their homes.

Initially, he will be launching a smaller version of the series on youtube. Later the series would be made available to all.
