Robert De Niro And Leonardo DiCaprio Offer Walk-On Role In Martin Scorsese Film For COVID-19 Fundraising
Hollywood heavyweights Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro are offering fans the opportunity to win a role in their upcoming film. It is a new coronavirus fundraising campaign. Niro and Leonardo are coming together for “Killers of the Flower Moon” being directed by Martin Scorsese.
Fans can enter the contest by donating funds through the “All in Challenge,” which supports DiCaprio’s “America’s Food Fund,” “Meals on Wheels” and “No Kid Hungry.” Donations will help provide meals to those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Taking to Instagram, DiCaprio urged fans and his famous Hollywood friends to donate to America’s Food Fund as part of the ‘All In Challenge’. The fund is set up to help ensure that every family in need gets access to food at this critical time. The randomly selected winner will also have lunch with the stars and director, and attend the premiere.
At the end of the video, the two challenged Matthew McConaughey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jamie Foxx to participate in the challenge.
The initiative is part of the #AllInChallenge, which sees celebrities auction or donate a “once-in-a-lifetime fan experience,” and challenge others to do the same. ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ is based on David Grann’s bestselling book about the FBI’s investigation into the 1920s Osage murders. It saw the slayings of Native Americans in Oklahoma’s Osage Nation soon after oil deposits were found underneath their land.
