Riverdale New Season 4 Trailer: Archie Andrews’ bids adieu to Fred Andrews’

The new season of High School drama Riverdale 4 will commence from this week. The makers have unveiled the new trailer unveiled at the New York Comic-Con 2019 and it features more mysteries to be solved. The four best friends – Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper are back. They are embroiled in crazier adventures that include Jughead going MIA as the entire town of Riverdale goes on a manhunt to search for him. It also has Archie Andrews finding out about and grieving his father, Fred Andrews’ death.

In this new trailer, in the opening sequence, as the awesome foursome plan to go camping while drinking milkshakes at Pops, Archie gets the phone call that changes his life forever. It is about his father’s death. “It hurts me that I never got to say goodbye,” Archie (K.J. Apa), somberly narrates.

We also see Veronica on the pursuit to know about all of her father, Hiram Lodge’s past crimes. Betty has a new target to fuss over – her mother Alice Cooper and FP Jones’ love child, Charles. Jughead is seen almost beating someone up! Cheryl Blossom tries to speak to her dead brother but receiving messages from beyond from someone else instead. This and many other things that will keep you hooked.

The new season has the gang navigating a senior year filled with family secrets, scandals, a new school, and complicated relationships.

Season four of RIVERDALE premieres on October 9.
