After the shocking death of Irrfan Khan on April 29. Bollywood industry woke up to yet another devastating news of veteran Rishi Kapoor’s demise. The 67-year-old actor was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. He breathed his last on Thursday morning at 8:45 AM. The veteran actor was battling cancer for the last two years. He was diagnosed with leukemia.
At the 13th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor performed together for the very first time in 2012. The father-son duo performed on the veteran actor’s most popular track ‘Om Shanti Om’. It was a power-packed show, Ranbir performed on the songs of his father to mark the journey of Bollywood, father Rishi Kapoor also was a part of it.
They danced on the remixed version of the song ‘Bachna ae Haseeno’ and other songs including ‘Paisa ye Paisa’ from Rishi’s 1980 film ‘Karz.’ Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor are seen matching their steps wearing similar jackets.
