Rishi Kapoor Back In Mumbai, Reveals Why He Was Hospitalised; Find Out
Risha Kapoor who was hospitalised in Delhi has now given an update about his health.
Days after announcing his upcoming Bollywood movie with Deepika Padukone titled ‘The Intern’, veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor was admitted to a hospital in New Delhi. Ranbir Kapoor along with girlfriend Alia Bhatt hurried to the capital city to visit the veteran actor. Recently, Honey Trehan confirmed that he is doing well and will return shooting for the producer’s film Sharmaji Namkeen next week.
On Tuesday, Rishi Kapoor took to his Twitter handle to update his fans about his health, he wrote, “Dear family, friends, foes and followers. I have been overwhelmed by all your concern about my health. Thank you. I have been filming in Delhi past 18 days and because of the Pollution and my low count of neutrophils, I caught an infection whereby I had to be hospitalized. (1)…..”

In another tweet, he continued and wrote, “I was running a slight fever and on investigation,Dr.s found a patch which could have lead to pneumonia,was detected and is being cured. People seem to have assumed a lot different. I put to rest all those stories and look forward to entertain and love you. I am now in Mumbai.”

On Sunday, the veteran actor confirmed to the news agency PTI about his treatment and said, “I have had an infection which am getting treated. Nothing dramatic. Pollution got me, I guess.”
Recently, Kapoor returned to India in September 2019 after undergoing treatment for cancer in the US for almost a year. He was on a break from work throughout that duration. He returned to work within months of his arrival.
On the professional front, Rishi Kapoor will be next seen in Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming sports drama ‘Toofan’ and the Indian adaptation of the 2015 Hollywood film ‘The Intern’ alongside Deepika Padukone.
