The year 2020 began on a sad note with the global pandemic. The year kept on getting worse with each passing month as we lost a number of popular celebrities. One of the most popular versatile actor Rishi Kapoor too succumbed to Cancer this year. He left behind his heartbroken family, friends, and fans. Today on the actor’s birth anniversary his daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni penned an emotional note for her Papa.
Riddhima took to her Instagram account and shared a bunch of family pictures of father Rishi and mother Neetu. The caption read, “Papa, They say when you lose someone, you can’t live without -your heart will badly break! But I know you are living in this broken heart & will be there forever! I know you are watching over all of us & ensuring that we live by the value system you instilled in us! You gave me the gift of compassion -taught me the value of relationships & made me the person I am today! I miss you each day & will always love you! Celebrating you today & always – Happy Birthday ❤️(sic)”

Riddhima had penned a letter for her dear papa earlier too. This was when he passed away and she was unable to attend his last rites due to the lockdown.
Riddhima, who lives in Delhi with her family, couldn’t make it to the funeral in time as the country was in lockdown mode. She watched the funeral on FaceTime while travelling to Mumbai from Delhi. She later attended the prayer meets.
