RIP Dilip Kumar: Bollywood Celebs Mourn The Loss Of Tragedy King

The world woke up to the sad day of Bollywood’s iconic star losing his battle with age-related disease. Yes, legendary actor Dilip Kumar has passed away on Wednesday morning. The iconic actor was being treated at the Hinduja Hospital. He was hospitalised a couple of times in the last few months. Despite being assured of being stable last week, the actor, 98, passed away His loss has left an irreparable void in Bollywood.

The news was confirmed by family friend Faisal Farooqui on the actor’s official Instagram account. “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return,” he wrote. The actor is survived by his wife actress Saira Banu. He is survived by Saira Banu.

Dilip Saab was conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest award in the artform. He also received the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award in the country. Not just that, he was also the only Indian recipient of Pakistan’s highest civilian award, Nishan-e-Imtiaz.
