Rimi Sen made her Bollywood debut in the 2013 hit comedy Hungama, which featured Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Aftab Shivdasani, Rimi Sen, Rajpal Yadav, Shakti Kapoor. Later, in 2015, she participated in the reality television show ‘Bigg Boss 9.’ However, she was eliminated by the audience after 49 days for being disinterested in the show.
In an interview with India Today, Rimi revealed that she participated in the show just for the money. She also revealed that the makers of the show paid her a whopping amount of Rs 2.25 crore for 50 days.
The actress also called the makers of Bigg Boss were very professional and said that they have really good payment terms and also complimented the show and called it very good. The ‘Dus’ actress said that her main motto to do the reality show was money and the makers did offer her quite a lot of money.
She said that she stayed true to herself on the show. However, she said that Bigg Boss was not meant for her as she did not like staying in front of the camera all the time.
The actress has been missing from the big screens. She was last seen in the films ‘Shagird’ and ‘Thank You’ that released in 2011.
