Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal all set to tie the knot in December. Read on to know details
The coronavirus pandemic has turned life topsy-turvy for everyone all over the globe. Events are being cancelled, release dates of movies are being pushed ahead, the economy is in doldrums and weddings too are being postponed. Yesterday we had revealed that Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal and Ali Fazal-Richa Chadha’s summer wedding too is being postponed amid the corona crisis.
But reports abound that Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha who were to tie the knot in April in Mumbai, have now decided to push their wedding to October.
Richa and Ali’s official spokesperson confirming the news to ETimes said, “Given the current scenario and unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have decided to postpone their wedding functions to the latter half of 2020, tentatively. They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would they want their friends, families and well-wishers to be affected.”
Sources further added, “It’s not safe to venture out at this time, and we don’t know how long this will go on. Ali’s extended family is based in Canada and owing to travel restrictions they cannot be here in April. The couple is also expecting industry friends from the UK and US, who also won’t be able to be here in April. So, October seems feasible for now. Everything else remains the same, including the venue, outfits planned, and teams involved.”
Speaking about their relationship Richa had told ETimes, “Our relationship is a great creative partnership. No one that sees us together feels like it’s a mismatch. It’s rare to find like-minded people who share certain core values and have similar interests like poetry, music, films and literature.”
