Sushant Singh Rajput‘s last girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty has been making headlines since last evening when the late actor’s father filed an FIR against her at Rajiv Nagar Police station in Patna. Now, the latest report states that the actress has filed a petition in Supreme Court to transfer the investigation in SSR’s case to Mumbai.
News agency ANI tweeted on Wednesday, “Petition filed by actor Rhea Chakraborty in Supreme Court seeking transfer of investigation in #SushantSinghRajput’s death to Mumbai: Satish Maneshinde, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer
An FIR was filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father against Rhea in Bihar yesterday.”
Rhea met with her lawyer last night Anandini Fernandes after FIR was filed by SSR’s father, she was also spotted coming out of the actress’s house after three hours of discussion. The ‘Jalebi’ actress will also be applying for interim bail.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, Inspector General, central range, told Hindustan Times, “KK Singh (SSR’s father) lodged the case with Rajiv Nagar police station against Rhea Chakraborty, and her family including Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Shruti Modi, Showik Chakraborty and others under Sections 341, 342, 380, 406,420, 306 and 120 (B) of the IPC. Sushant’s father has made a serious charge against Rhea and her family. He has alleged that she had kept Sushant away from his family and completely in her possession. She was also handling his bank account. It was also reported that crores of rupees were withdrawn from his bank account.”
In connection to SSR’s case, the Mumbai Police has already interrogated around 40 people in its probe.
