Rhea Chakraborty denies drug charges, lawyer says she is ready for blood test

Since the past few days, there have been reports stating that ED has shared some evidence with CBI about her alleged link to drugs of Rhea Chakraborty, now,  Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said, in a new interview, stated that the actress never consumed drugs and is ready for a blood test.

“Rhea has never consumed drugs in her lifetime. She’s ready for a blood test any time,” said the lawyer in a statement.

Currently, the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) department is investigating the drug angle in Sushant’s death case. The Bureau director, Rakesh Asthana has also revealed about Enforcement Directorate (ED) finding of the supply.  The (NCB) has filed a case under sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the NDPS Act against Rhea and her drug circle. They have booked Rhea, her brother Showik, Jaya Saha, Shruti Modi, and Gaurav Arya for their alleged dealings in banned drugs.

Director-General, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) told news agency ANI, “A team has been formed and has left from Delhi for investigation in the drugs-related matter in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. An investigation has been put into motion.”
