Reliance Jio Prime Membership Extended For One Year: Here’s How You Can Check It

Reliance Jio has further extended the Prime Membership of its existing user for one more year. Yes, the prime membership of all Jio user has automatically been renewed by the telecom operator. Reliance has become one of the largest telecom operators in India since its debut in 2016.  Now, Jio user will be able to use its all applications such as Jio Cinema, Jio Music, Jio TV and others for free.

After providing free internet for almost six months, Reliance made an announcement in February 2017 that in order to avail the benefits of Prime membership user are requested to pay Rs 99 annually as a membership fee and now they have extended it for a year without any additional cost.

To recall, Jio Prime is a membership for Reliance Jio customers, who could enroll with a one-time annual fee of Rs.99 along with a recharge of Rs.309/- and above. Jio Prime along with a validity recharge comes with a number of benefits such as unlimited benefits of free voice (Local, STD, Roaming to any operator, anywhere in India), SMS and 4G data which Jio users have been currently using till 31st March 2018 for just a nominal charge of Rs.399 for 70 days.

How do I check my Jio Membership status?

In order to check your Membership status or your Jio Membership has been extended or not, you need to open the MyJio App on your smartphone. Then navigate to the My Plans section where you will see all the details of your existing plans.

You will see a message written on your screen if your Membership has been extended. “Your request to avail free JioPrime membership for a year has been registered successfully. You can now enjoy JioPrime benefits for another year. Thank You!”.

Notably, the extension of free Prime membership appears to be staggered, as it is so far not reflecting in all Jio users’ app.
