Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro have been officially launched in India today (February 28). At a launch event in India, Xiaomi has launched total four products including Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note Note 7 Pro, Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphone Basic and Mi LED TV 4A PRO 80mcm (32”). The fans of Xiaomi were eagerly waiting to get to know the price of its much-awaited phones. The price of Redmi Note 7 for 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB have been fixed Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively. The price of Redmi Note 7 Pro for 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB have been set Rs 13,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and coupled with 5MP secondary sensor, 13MP AI front camera and a studio lighting mode live option as well. The feature will show what studio on lighting effect will look like when you take the phone in this mode. It also has 4K recording at 30fps. At a launch event, the company claimed to say that its sensor is bigger than iPhone XS Max as it has ½ inch stacked CMOS sensor.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie and has been powered with a 4000 mAh battery. The phone also supports Quick charge 4 via Type-C USB. It has been powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. The company also claimed to have taken a 155 per cent jump in performance of the new Redmi Note 7 Pro. The phone has been protected by Corning Glass 5 on the front while it has IR blaster on the top as well.
Xiaomi’s most anticipated phone will be available in two colours a Neptune Blue and Nebula Red colour options. Xiaomi has used the same glass metal that we have already witnessed on the original Redmi Note 7, which was launched in China. The company calls it an Aura design. The phone has a glass back and a water drop notch design on the front.
Xiaomi head Manu Kumar Jain claimed to have delivered more than 12 million phones belonging to Note series in India over the period of time. He went ahead and said that Redmi Note has become a bigger brand than Realme, Honor, Huawei and Asus smartphone brands all together in India.
