IPL 2019: Ravichandran Ashwin Got TROLLED For Captaincy Blunder Against KKR

Ravichandran Ashwin, who is a captain of Kings XI Punjab in Indian Premier League (IPL), was brutally trolled on social media for making a captaincy blunder during March 27 March against Kolkata Knight Riders. Ashwin was making all possible efforts to keep the match in their control as it was already 161 for 3 from 16.5 overs and he was smashed for 47 runs in his four overs.

Andre Russell, who is believed to be KKR’s hero made a perfect comeback after getting bowled out because Ashwin did not remember he had only three fielders inside the inner circle instead of four. This all happened when merely 19 deliveries were left in the entire innings, and Russel took the score from 3 to 48. Russel was caught on the fence in the final over but the Kings XI Punjab’s damage was already done as KKR finished 218/4 and comfortably defended the total with Kings XI Punjab managing 190/4.

Ashwin, who was criticised for ‘mankading’ Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler on Monday has been facing more flak after the fielding blunder in Kolkata. Hitting out at Ashwin, a user on Twitter said that he was hit by the Karma.
