After the stupendous success of his last release ‘Gully Boy’, Ranveer Singh is now busy with his next. The Blue eyed boy of Bollywood will soon be seen in a sports drama titled ’83’, that is being directed by Kabir Khan. The ‘Padmaavat’ star has shared a new picture from Himachal Pradesh where he is training for the film.

Ranveer Singh is playing the role of cricketer Kapil Dev under whose captainship India had won the World Cup in 1983. The actor known to give his all for a role is training under the hawk eyes of the iconic cricketer in Himachal Pradesh.
Not only Ranveer the entire team of ’83’ is prepping up for the film ever since they reached Himachal Pradesh. They are attending a 10-day training camp in order to learn some cricketing skills before they finally begin shooting.
Kabir Khan’s ’83’ also features Pankaj Tripathi as Man Singh, Ammy Virk as Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Chirag Patil as his father Sandip Patil, and Hardy Sandhu will be seen as Madan Lal. Actors like Saqib Saleem will be stepping into the shoes of Mohinder Amarnath, and Sunil Gavaskar will be played by Tahir Raj Bhasin.
After the training, the entire team will fly off to London and Scotland for the 100-day shoot schedule there. The movie will release in 2020.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh also has Karan Johar’s historical drama ‘Takht’, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal.
