Ranveer Singh who has recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Deepika Padukone is currently enjoying the best phase of his life. When Singh was asked about his marriage life, he said that marrying Deepika Padukone was the best thing that has ever happened to him.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married on December 14 and 15 at the picturesque Lake Como in Italy, it was a private affair and only attended by their close friends and family members.

Talking about their wedding reception, it was a star-studded affair. Among the celebrities who had graced the occasion was Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Rajkummar Rao and several others. They not just had a gala time but also danced their hearts out at the reception.

“Marriage is like the best thing that has ever happened to me. I feel some kind of magic, some kind of power, it’s like I’m invincible. You know in those superhero movies, you know that moment when the suit comes on. I feel like marriage has done that to me,” Ranveer said.

It’s been a month the couple exchanged their wedding vows, but Simmba actor seems to be a  fan of the institution of marriage. “I’m really loving it. It has only been about 10-15 days now but it’s so nice, it’s so lovely. I would highly recommend it to the entire young population of the country. Take it from me, it’s great,” Ranveer quoted by news agency IANS as saying.

Speaking about his family plan with wife Deepika Padukone, he said that it would be his wife’s decision. “It’s not my call really. I mean partly it is, but mostly it’s just her,” he said.

Ranveer acknowledged that Deepika was a “much greater person” than him and that she wears the pants in the relationship “because she is just better at everything”.

“I have no qualms in accepting that she is a much more evolved, a much more mature person than me. Of course, I love her, but I respect and admire her for everything that she has achieved. She is a much greater person than me. She has achieved a lot more than me,” he told news agency IANS.

On the professional front, Ranveer is currently busy with the promotions of Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, slated to release on the silver screen on December 28.
