Ranveer Singh is all set to make his television debut as a host with ‘The Big Picture’ which is set to launch on October 16. Ahead of the show’s premiere, the ‘Gully Boy’ actor played picture quiz challenge himself. In the video, he revealed details from her first wedding anniversary with Deepika Padukone and also compared their love story to Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘2 States.’
The video features a photo that was taken on their first wedding anniversary. Ranveer and Deepika were seen posing outside a temple. He took the hot seat quiz and was asked to guess the temple’s name.
To which, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor said in Hindi: “I should know, obviously I should know otherwise I’ll get a lappad (slap) when I get back home. Basically, Deepika and I thought we should do something special on our first anniversary. As you know, our life is similar to 2 States (Chetan Bhagat’s novel). Her family is from Bengaluru, mine is from Mumbai. So we thought since it’s our first anniversary, why don’t we visit both places. We went to Golden Temple in Amritsar but before that, we visited the temple seen in the picture, which is Tirupati temple.”
Ranveer also referred to himself as the “husband of the century”

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married in traditional Konkani and Sindhi ceremonies at the Villa del Balbianello Lake Como, Italy. The duo also hosted a star-studded reception in Mumbai.
