A few days back, actress Deepika Padukone’s name cropped up in the Bollywood drug nexus probe, the actress has been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. On Thursday, she landed in Mumbai from Goa along with her husband actor Ranveer Singh ahead of the investigation.
Now, according to a report in Republic TV, Ranveer Singh has requested the NCB to let him be present with Deepika Padukone during her investigation as she suffers from anxiety and gets panic attacks.
“In his application to the NCB, Ranveer has reportedly stated that Deepika sometimes suffers from anxiety and gets panic attacks so he should be granted permission to be with her. Ranveer is believed to have added that he is a law-abiding citizen and knows he can’t be present at the time of Deepika’s questioning but is understood to have requested that he be allowed inside the NCB office. However, no decision has been taken by the central drugs agency on his application,” reported Peepingmoon.com. However, no decision has been made by the NCB yet.
On September 26, Deepika Padukone is set to arrive before the NCB alongside Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor.
Earlier, today, Rakul Preet Singh arrived at the NCB office to join the investigation of a drug case, related to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
Now, Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash also arrived at the Narcotics Control Bureau office and she will be investigated based on the 2017 chats with the Piku actress where they were discussing drugs.
