It has finally happened, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh (after six years of being in a relationship) are now officially engaged. The news has spread like wildfire and DeepVeer fans are over the moon. Yes, Deepika and Ranveer who had flown to Italy for their nuptials had one of the most romantic engagement ceremonies as the actor went down on his knees and formally proposed to his ladylove.
We have now learned that the RamLeela Jodi had also done something special for their guests at the venue in Italy and this gesture of Ranveer-Deepika will surely win a million hearts.
According to Filmfare, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have greeted their guests personally in a very special manner. The actors personally handed over handwritten notes to the guests who were in attendance at the Sangeet.
Today the couple will be tying the knot in traditional Konkani style and have made grand arrangement for the D-Day. But due to high-level security arrangements, we will not be able to see much of it. The power couple has taken a precautionary measure and asked guests to not carry their mobile phones during the wedding ceremonies.
As per a report in Bollywoodlife, all the visitors at the CastaDiva resort have to present a special wristband and the camera lenses on mobile phones were covered with stickers. Security boats patrol just outside the perimeter of the property to deter snooping photographers. There is also a no drone policy along with local authorities warning boat rental companies from renting out boats for anyone from outside town.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will tie the knot once again in traditional North Indian style on November 15 and fly back home on November 18. The newly married couple will host two receptions for their family and friends in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
