It is the season for marriages in B-Town as after Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli and Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja, we now have Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tying the knot as per Sindhi and Konkani traditions. The couple had flown off to Italy with their family and friends for the three-day festivities at Lake Como.
Fans were quite excited and eager to catch the first glimpse of the couple post their marriage, but sadly they will have to wait for some more time.
As per an exclusive news filed by Bollywood Bubble, pictures of Deepveer’s wedding will be auctioned by the couple and the proceeds will be given to Deepika‘s charity foundation on mental health, ‘The Live Love Laugh Foundation’. So whichever magazine bids the highest for the pictures will get them.
It was earlier reported that Deepika and Ranveer had asked their guests not to give any gifts, but make a donation to ‘The Live Love Laugh Foundation’ that is close to both their hearts. It looks like the couple will now utilize the money they garner from the auction of their wedding pics for the same cause.
Deepika and Ranveer are getting married as per Konkani tradition on November 14 and will get married as per Sindhi tradition on November 15. The couple will then make their way back to the country to host receptions for family and friends in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
