Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has recovered from COVID-19. The news was confirmed by his uncle veteran actor Randhir Kapoor. Speaking to PTI Randhir Kapoor said, “Ranbir is absolutely fine now. He is alright. I have met him.” Randhir Kapoor told PTI, adding he was unaware when his nephew tested negative for COVID-19.
On March 9, Ranbir Kapoor’s actor-mother Neetu Kapoor had informed his fans that the Barfi star has tested positive for COVID-19. She had added that he was under self-quarantine.
Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni had shared their picture from the 11-month prayer meet for their late father, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor on Thursday. “Always watching over us. We miss you,” Sahni captioned their photo on Instagram and tagged their mother.
Speculations about Ranbir Kapoor’s health status arose after the picture went viral. But now his uncle has confirmed that he is fine.
Yesterday was late actor Rishi Kapoor’s 11-month prayer meet. Neetu Kapoor had shared a video of the actor from their stay in New York.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The movie also features Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. He also has Yash Raj Films Shamshera. Sanjay Dutt is also a pivotal part of the movie. Ranbir will be seen in Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s crime drama Animal. Animal will also star Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Parineeti Chopra.
