On Monday, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s family jetted off to Ranthambore, Rajasthan to spend their New Year’s together. Ever since the duo’s fans have been speculating that they are getting married with the presence of their family members. Earlier, today, it was reported that the two is all set to exchange rings today. Now, Randhir Kapoor denied the reports and spilled the beans on their trip.
Speaking to Indian Express, Randhir Kapoor said that Alia and Ranbir are not getting engaged, “It is not true. If Ranbir and Alia were to get engaged today, my family and I would have also been there with them. Ranbir, Alia, and Neetu have gone there for holidays and to bring in the new year. The news of their engagement is incorrect.”
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have also joined Alia and Ranbir for their New Years’ vacation. On Tuesday, the veteran actor Neetu shared a selfie with Ranveer and Ranbir on her Instagram story, in which, they can be seen smiling as they posed for a perfect selfie.
Earlier, Ranbir in an interview with the journalist Rajeev Masand said he and Alia would have been married by now if the coronavirus pandemic had not hit their lives this year.
On a professional note, Ranbir and Alia will be sharing the screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ which is scheduled to release in 2021.
