The entire cast and crew of Brahmastra including Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got a surprise as President Ram Nath Kovind dropped in to meet them at the Sofia sets along with Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev.
The official Instagram handle of the President posted two pictures and wrote, “President Kovind and President Radev dropped in at the studio in Sofia where the Hindi film Brahmastra is being made. The Presidents met the Indo-Bulgarian crew and chatted about cinema as a business and cultural link between the two countries @aliaabhatt.”
The two Presidents interacted with the lead actors, director and Indo-European crew and enquired about cultural ties and business. The team has been in Bulgaria for close to a month now. Brahmastra, which is said to be a supernatural thriller, is a trilogy produced by Karan Johar. The film has already completed two schedules of shooting.
On the relationship between Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor had told HT, ““Ranbir likes her, Neetu likes her, I like her… get it?”
On the work front, while Alia has Kalank, Brahmastra and Takht in her hands, Ranbir has Shamshera with Yash Raj Films.
