The duo will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming film, Brahmastra. The release of the film has been shifted to 2020, and the buzz is that they may get married in the next year itself.
As per a report in, Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir might have taken the first step towards solidifying the relationship with Alia. He has apparently met Alia’s father filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt to formally ask her hand in marriage. The report also added that post-Ranbir’s action, the marriage might take place in 2020.
We all know that Ranbir Kapoor’s parents Rishi and Neetu are extremely fond of the ‘Raazi’ actress and vice versa. Recently Alia and Ranbir were in New York to meet his parents. Soon rumours abounded that the duo is all set to walk the aisle as soon as Ranbir’s parents are back home after his father’s treatment there.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The film’s release has been pushed to the summer of 2020 from the earlier December 2019 release.
