Bollywood Drug Probe: Rakul Preet Reaches NCB Office For Questioning

Actress Rakul Preet Singh has reached the NCB office in South Mumbai to record her statement. The actress had been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with Bollywood-drugs nexus linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. The actress who was in Hyderabad reached Mumbai yesterday after she received the summons. Rakul (29) was seen entering the NCB guest house in Colaba around 10.30 am.

Rakul’s name had cropped up during the interrogation of actress Rhea Chakraborty. The actress who is Rajput’s girlfriend is currently under arrest by the NCB in the drugs case.

Rakul was to record her statement on Thursday but her lawyer claimed that they have not received the summons. Shortly later, however, they confirmed having received the summons.

Besides Rakul, actor Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash and Dharma Productions executive producer Kshitij Ravi are also slated to join the NCB investigation on Friday

The NCB has also summoned actors Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan for questioning. Deepika Padukone is expected to be questioned on Saturday after having acknowledged the summons sent to her.

Besides the actors, NCB has already questioned Samuel Miranda, Shruti Modi who is a former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, talent manager Jaya Saha, Kwan talent management agency CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar, ‘Udta Punjab’ Producer Madhu Mantena Varma.
