Controversial Rakhi Sawant suffered grave injuries when she challenged a professional foreign wrestler for a bout at Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) match held in Panchkula, Haryana.
The foreign wrestler who was challenged for a bout by Rakhi Sawant, knocked her out, following which the the Indian actor was heard complaining about stomach and backache, reported The India Today.
The actress was taken to the hospital where she is said to be stable.
After winning her fight, the foreign wrestler threw a challenge saying, “Come and fight with me if any of the Indian women have the courage.”
However, none of the Indian women dared to accept her challenge. The Continental Wrestling Entertainment — CWE — was instituted by The Great Khali in 2005 in Jalandhar, Punjab.
A video is doing rounds on a social media, which shows Rakhi Sawant is lying on the ring floor and she is being escorted out of the ring by a woman police officer and one of the organisers.
Rakhi Sawant has always been in the news for making outrageous and derogatory comments. Recently, she accused Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta of lying about Nana Patekar. Tanushree had reiterated her alleged 2008 sexual harassment ordeal by actor Nana Patekar, which triggered a #MeToo movement in India.
Rakhi went on to call her a liar. She also wondered where was Tanushree all these years and why she was speaking now? Notably, Tanushree had slapped a Rs 10 crore defamation suit against Rakhi in response to Sawant’s wild accusations.
