The most anticipated Rajinikanth starrer has finally hit the theaters today (January 9, 2020) and people are eagerly waiting for Darbar movie review.

The story of Darbar revolves around a top police officer given task to end drug menace in the financial capital of India, Mumbai. The role of brave cop is played by none other than Thalaiva. The film has a lot of action sequence from its beginning. We see Aaditya Arunasalam (Rajinikanth) threatening Human rights members who raise question about his rule breaking. In his operation to end drug menace from Mumbai, Aaditya nabs Ajay Malhotra (Prateik Babbar), who is introduced as the son of top businessman, who also happens to the chief drug supplier. When Ajay is sidelined, Hari Chopra (Suniel Shetty), who a dreaded gangster returns to get his revenge and targets Aaditya Arunasalam’s daughter Valli, played by (Nivetha Thomas).

The best part of the scenes of Darbar is Aaditya Arunasalam and Valli’s scenes which are surely heartbreaking moments.

Sunil Shetty’s character looks not as powerful being an antagonist as we expected after seeing the trailer. He may have killed multiple people in the film but he does not seem to stand anywhere when it comes to compete Aaditya.

Revealing how Rajinkanth came on board for Darbar, he had earlier said, “After watching Ramana, I asked Murugadoss if he has got a script for me and it has taken these many years for a project to come along. The director approached me with the Darbar script after the release of Petta.”

Speaking about his role in Darbar, Suniel Shetty had said that he will rub shoulders with Rajini for the first time in the film. Sharing his work experience, he said that he was initially scared to work with the Superstar.

“The hand of God was on me and that hand belonged to Rajinikanth. I was scared, nervous because I didn’t know what to do, but he makes you so comfortable that it’s unbelievable. He is one person who is so simple, and that’s why I consider him God. We all keep learning from him because we all emulate him,” Suniel had said.
