While returning from Triveni Sangam Dham, kanwariyas got into a brawl with the local youths of the minority community in the Malpura region.
Having left 14 youths injured, this indeed became a violent crash between the two groups. They later retorted by vandalising a bus and torching a vehicle. Internet services have been suspended in the area and Section 144(Unlawful assembly) has also been imposed so that the situation is under control.
The injured have been taken to a hospital nearby but the situation is still quite tense.
Malpura has become a sensitive town ever since last year when a group of youngsters were shouting pro-ISIS slogans.
The first case of Kanwariya vandalism was reported earlier this month on August 7 from West Delhi’s Moti Nagar region when kanwariyas were caught exhibiting hooliganism on camera, toppling and vandalising a car being driven by a female.
