Race 3 did not stop after the achievement of it’s fist day of the box office. In the mid of year 2018 this is the only film which accomplished the highest opening gross of Rs. 29.17 cr.
Remo D’Souza directorial Race 3 has shown astonishing growth on the second day of its release. The film which is Eid release, the Salman Khan starrer has earned Rs 38.14 crore on Saturday, taking the total collection to Rs 67.31 crore.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the gross of Salman’s films in recent years. Where is said “In the past, three Salman starrers have crossed ₹ 100 cr mark in *3 days*: #BajrangiBhaijaan ₹ 102.60 cr [Fri-Sun] #Sultan
₹ 105.53 cr [released on Wed; Wed-Fri] #TigerZindaHai ₹ 114.93 cr [Fri-Sun] #Race3 *3 days* numbers are being eyed with enthusiasm. India biz.”
There were huge bounce in business in places like UP and Gujarat especially the single screens which at places were 75-80% up.
Having record of all his Eid release films, in comparison to Tubelight all other films namely Sultan or Bajrangi Bhaijaan and even going back to ‘kink’ in the year 2014, have done better in first three days of Eid.
Though the film is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in its opening weekend. The collections will surely see a jump today and tomorrow. But there are films which are giving though competition to it like Veere Di Wedding and Parmanu.
The film should be able to have another huge day today as the single screen business will hardly drop but multiplexes could feel the pressure.
Where as the overseas business can turn out as an inducement for the film as Eid has fell correctly for that market and audience will consider it as a huge weekend to celebrate Eid outside India.
