Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino and his wife Danielle Pick have become parents to a baby boy. The news was shared by a representative of the couple on Wednesday in a statement to Page Six.
The spokesperson revealed, “Daniella and Quentin Tarantino are happy to announce the birth of their first child. A baby boy born February 22.”
According to The Jerusalem Post, the couple’s son was born at the Ichilov hospital in Tel Aviv, Israel. This is the first child for both Tarantino, who is 56, as well as Pick, who is 20 years his junior. The name of the couple’s son has not been revealed.
Tarantino and Daniella had met during the making of his 2009 feature “Inglorious Bastards” but it wasn’t until 2016 that they started dating. They got engaged in 2017. The couple tied the knot in November 2018 in a ceremony which was attended by the filmmaker’s close friends like Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, and Eli Roth. Pick has also starred in the Israeli version of the reality show “Big Brother.”
Tarantino, 56, has frequently said he’ll retire from filmmaking after his 10th movie (which would be his next). But we would love to see him work for many more years to come.
