Pushpa: Fahadh Faasil Roped In To Play Antagonist In Allu Arjun Starrer

South superstar Allu Arjun’s upcoming movie Pushpa is one of the most anticipated film of the year. Written and directed by Sukumar, the Pan-India film features Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role. The movie has once again created a buzz as the makers have finally unveiled the much-awaited face of the villain. Pushparaj, Allu Arjun’s character in the film Pushpa has an equally fierce opponent. He is none other than Mollywood’s powerhouse Fahadh Faasil.

Renowned for his prowess as an actor, Faasil has a National Film Award and four Kerala State Film Awards to his credit.

Myythri Movie Makers announced that Fahadh Faasil has been roped in to play the villain in the film. The team welcomed the actor on-board with a small video. Their post read, “Welcoming #FahadhFaasil on board for the biggest face-off @alluarjun @iamRashmika @aryasukku @ThisIsDSP @PushpaMovie #VillainOfPushpa #Pushpa (sic).”

Pushpa will release on August 13 in theatres. The multilingual action thriller film, written and directed by Sukumar, will be released in Telugu along with Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The story of the film is based on red sanders smuggling. set against the backdrop of Seshachalam forest.

On the work front, Fahadh Faasil is waiting for the release of his Malayalam film, Irul. Directed by Naseef Yusuf Izuddin the film will stream on Netflix on April 2.
