Telugu superstar Allu Arjun after the stupendous success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will next be seen in a Sukumar directorial Pushpa. The duo has earlier collaborated for the blockbuster Arya and Arya 2. Stylish Star and Sukumar’s third outing the action and romantic drama has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead. Now rumour has it that the movie will be released in two parts.
As reported by sources to Tollywood.net, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer was supposed to hit the screens on 13th August 2021. But the release date has been postponed due to the coronavirus second wave. Apparently, the makers are now looking for a later release date. With ample time in hand to rework the script, director Sukumar is reportedly convinced to release the film in two parts, just like Baahubali and KGF.
Sources added, Sukumar found a scope to add more interesting elements to the script. Buzz is that Allu Arjun has given his consent for the same and left the final decision to Sukumar. If everything goes as per the plan, the first part will hit the screens on the occasion of Dussehra or in December. It depends on the COVID situation in the country. The second part will be out around next year.
Pushpa is directed by Sukumar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media. It also features Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, and Sunil in pivotal roles.
