Pulwama: Police Officer, Wife & Daughter Shot Dead By Terrorists

Suspected militants killed a special police office(SPO), his wife, and his daughter in Jammu and Kashmir‘s Pulwama district. Police have identified the SPO as Fayaz Ahmad. A group of militants forcibly barged into the SPO’s house and fired indiscriminately. Fayaz and his wife succumbed to the injuries at night. Their daughter breathed her last on Monday morning in a Srinagar hospital.

As reported by sources to Times Now, In this terror attack, Fayaz along with his wife and daughter received critical injuries. They were rushed to a local hospital where the SPO and his wife Raja Begum succumbed to injuries. Their daughter Rafia was shifted to a hospital here for treatment. She breathed her last on Monday morning.

The security forces have cordoned off and launched a search operation to track down the assailants.

The slain cop’s son is a jawan in Territorial Army. Two years ago, Ahmed was threatened to resign, but he never did.

Earlier this month, militants killed two off-duty policemen in Srinagar in two separate attacks.
