Priyanka and Nick accused by PETA of animal cruelty
The wedding celebrations of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas at Umaid Bhavan Palace raised the ire of netizens who slammed the Diva on the use of firecrackers. Priyanka, who is a self-confessed asthmatic, was slammed for her hypocrisy after the sky was lit up with spectacular fireworks post the nuptials. The reason being that she had urged people not to burn firecrackers and celebrate a pollution-free festival of lights.
Now animal rights organization PETA has raised a concern about the use of a horse and elephant Nickyanka‘s wedding. The organization took to Twitter to slam the couple and also shared its video from four years ago, highlighting the woes of the animals, titled, ‘Captive Elephants in Jaipur: PETA India’s 2014 Inspection’.

Nickyanka is yet to respond to the remarks.
Priyanka and Nick had tied the knot as per Hindu and Christian tradition at Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur in the presence of family and close friends. The couple hosted the first of their wedding reception in Delhi on December 4 and it was attended by PM Narendra Modi. They will host a reception for their Bollywood friends in Mumbai soon.
