Boris Johnson And His Fiancee Carrie Symonds Welcome A Baby Boy

Prime Minister of UK, Boris Johnson and his fiancee Carrie Symonds have welcomed their first child today. As per a report in BBC UK, the couple has announced the birth of their baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning.

A spokesperson for the prime minister and Ms Symonds said on Wednesday morning both the mother and baby are “doing very well”. “The prime minister and Ms Symonds are thrilled to announce the birth of a healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning,” she added.

The news of the birth comes just days after Boris Johnson returned to No 10 to resume his responsibilities on Sunday evening after being discharged from St Thomas’ Hospital where he was in intensive care as he was infected with COVID-19.

Earlier this year the couple announced they were expecting a baby in the “early summer”. Boris Johnson, who split from his wife of 26 years in 2018, has been dating 32-year-old Carrie Symonds since early last year.

On Monday, Boris Johnson made his first public appearance and delivered an address to the nation. He warned it was too early to relax the lockdown and said that country was now facing the “moment of maximum risk” and also said that the government is trying to stop the “second major outbreak” so that no more lives are at risk.
