Prakash Raj on losing in Bengaluru Central, says, “Solid slap on my face”
Prakash Raj was contesting as an independent candidate from the Bengaluru Central seat against Rizwan Arshad of the Congress and BJP MP PC Mohan.
Actor and Lok Sabha candidate Prakash Raj has accepted his defeat in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. He was contesting as an independent candidate from the Bengaluru Central seat against Rizwan Arshad of the Congress and BJP MP PC Mohan. The results are almost out and BJP is leading ahead with more than 300 seats. The final result is yet to come but it is clear that Modi government has come for the second term yet again. Prakash has accepted his defeat as ‘a solid slap on his face’.
Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote, “a SOLID SLAP on my face ..as More ABUSE..TROLL..and HUMILIATION come my way..I WILL STAND MY GROUND ..My RESOLVE to FIGHT for SECULAR INDIA will continue..A TOUGH JOURNEY AHEAD HAS JUST BEGUN ..THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO WERE WITH ME IN THIS JOURNEY. …. JAI HIND.”

Rizwan Arshad has won with 49.3 percent votes against BJP candidate with 45.6 percent votes.
Meanwhile, BJP is leading in the majority of constituencies and the celebrations have taken place in the BJP headquarter in Delhi.
