Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam team has donated property of a hospital set to a private hospital in Hyderabad. The set which had been used during the shooting of the film has 50 custom beds, stretchers, PPE suits, medical equipment stands and oxygen cylinders. The makers have donated all to a private hospital in Hyderabad to treat COVID-19 patients.
As reported by sources to Deccan Chronicles, The hospital set was constructed in a private studio in Hyderabad. Since the shooting of the film is almost done. Due to a sudden rise in the number of Covid-19 cases in the country, the shortage and requirement of medical equipment have also increased. Therefore, the makers have decided to donate the set property to a hospital in Hyderabad.
Ravinder Reddy, Radhe Shyam’s production designer added, “These beds have been custom designed; they are big, strong, and are patient-friendly. They have all the comforts that a bed-ridden patient can leverage. They have transported the entire set property in nine big trucks..”
He added that they realized the acute shortage of hospital beds and oxygen cylinders when they contacted a CEO of a private hospital for the bed to admit a relative. The CEO told them about no bed being available and the difficulty they were having procuring them. Ravinder spoke to the makers and they agreed to contribute to the hospital for the Covid-19 patients.
The entire unit along with Prabhas happiness that the set property equipment being used for the Covid-19 patients.
Celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, and others are also helping the nation fight the second wave of coronavirus.
