Pooja Hegde is surely one of the most beautiful actresses who appear not only in Hindi movies but Telugu movies as well. The gorgeous actress is currently basking in the grand success of her recently released film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which hit the theaters on January 12, 2020.
Pooja Hedge has always been grabbing the headlines for all the right reasons be it her acting skills, social media post or her generosity. The Housefull 4 actress is currently in the headlines for donating a sizeable amount to kids who have been battling Cancer.
Recently, Pooja Hegde attended an event held by Cure foundation for announcing the 6th Biennial Cancer Crusaders Invitation Cup, a golf tournament that works as an awareness initiative and a fundraiser.
At the same event, showing her generosity, Pooja Hegde donated Rs 2,5 lakh to two kids battling Cancer. Talking about the kids, she said that kids are resilient and not having money should not stand in their way of curing the disease. Pooja Hegde Offers Prayers To The Almighty Ahead Of The New Year
Hegde’s last Bollywood film was Housefull 4 and speaking about the same, she had told Bombay Times, “I chose this film because it’s quite different from what I did in my Bollywood debut. ‘Mohenjo Daro’ (2016) was a serious drama with a specific look. After that, I needed some comic relief, too. Making people laugh is a big deal and it feels great when you crack it.”
“In films like ‘Housefull 4’, there is no scope for prep; in fact, it’s about not prepping at all. It’s better to go with the flow and discuss scenes, which we did every day. We would all rehearse our scenes but, sometimes, the dialogues would change at the last minute for the better. This film taught me to be receptive and more spontaneous. It also taught me the art of being OTT where it’s required. In a film like this, if you don’t go over the top, you don’t deliver the goods,” she further added.
