Was Pooja Hegde caught by Hyderabad traffic police?

Actress Pooja Hegde is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Maharshi starring Mahesh Babu. The Mohenjo Daro star has been keeping busy with the promotions of the movie on various platforms. The movie is already grabbing headlines but Pooja too is doing the same but for a different reason. Apparently, she had a brush with the law in Hyderabad but there has been no confirmation of the same as yet.

As reported by Tollywood.net, Pooja Hegde and her crew after attending the pre-release event of Maharishi went to a hotel to party. The whole gang later decided to go for a drive. The car was being driven by Pooja’s manager when the traffic police stopped them. The manager who was quite drunk was caught and his car documents confiscated. Not only the manager but apparently Pooja and the other members were also drunk.

The report further added that Pooja’s crew soon shifted her to another car to avoid the media.

Now as per a report in Indiaglitz there is no truth in the rumors of Pooja being caught by the traffic police in Hyderabad. It seems Pooja was unaware that her manager was drunk. She unsuspectingly got into the car but the moment police stopped the car vacated and drove off in another.

The actress received negative headlines for no mistake of hers.

‘Maharshi’, directed by Vamsi Padipally and starring Pooja Hegde, Mahesh Babu, and Allari Naresh will release on May 9, 2019.
