Prime Minister Narendra Modi is back with ‘Mann Ki Baat’ once again
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann ki Baat returns today; was on hiatus since March
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to be back with his monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann ki Baat’ from June 30. This will be almost a month after he was once again elected as the Prime Minister of India for a second consecutive term. This will be his first “Mann ki Baat” radio programme after the PM returned to power.
On February 24, days before the Lok Sabha elections were announced, he had suspended his monthly broadcast for March and April. Confident of his return, Modi had said he will be back with the programme on the last Sunday of May.
PM Modi tweeted,
After four long months, #MannKiBaat is back to do what it has always loved- celebrate the power of positivity and the strengths of 130 crore Indians!

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to listen to the radio programme with other party workers at the Kakrola stadium in Delhi’s Dwarka. The Bharatiya Janata Party is planning to take Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme to more people this time.
The programme broadcasts on the last Sunday of the month and suggestions, stories and ideas are invited from people for it.
The BJP-led NDA returned to power with a massive mandate and Modi was sworn in as the prime minister on May 30. In his first term, Modi had addressed the nation on 53 occasions through his monthly broadcast after coming to power in 2014.
