PM Modi interrupts Arvind Kejriwal over ‘Protocol Break’ in his meet with 10 states CM

Coronavirus cases have seen a rapid surge in India over the last few weeks, which led the nation towards dealing with vaccine and oxygen crises. After addressing the nation on Tuesday, Prime Minister held a meeting with chief ministers of 10 states (from the COVID-19 hotspot zones) today. During this meeting, PM Modi interrupted Arvind Kejriwal over his ‘protocol breaking’ live telecast of the meeting conversation. The meeting was apparently organized to discuss the required aid from the center and to discuss preventive measures.

During the discussion, Arvind Kejriwal was heard saying, “My belief is that if there is a national plan against Covid, then the center and all state governments can work together in that direction. Our departed souls…”

Just then PM Modi interrupted and said, “What is happening… this is strictly against our tradition, our protocol… that some Chief Minister is showing a live telecast of an in-house meeting. This is not appropriate, we should always maintain restraint.” PM Modi took a jibe at the Delhi Chief Minister, who then apologized over the rule-breaking telecast of the meet.

Ok sir, we will be careful in the future,” replied Kejriwal.
