Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again slammed Congress Party over surgical strikes saying that they demanded video proof of the exercise while the strike made the country feel proud. Modi asked, “Will the soldiers carry a camera when they go across the border to fight?”
Prime Minister’s remark came on the 10th anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. PM Modi claimed to have reduced the terror attacks under his regimes. Attacking UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Modi said, “Today is 26/ 11… Ten years back, New Delhi was being ruled by “Madam”. She was governing the country with a remote control.”
Speaking at a rally in poll-bound Rajasthan’s Bhilwara, Modi blamed the grand old party for its hypocrisy as the Congress was allegedly busy in campaigning for the Rajasthan state elections that year when the country was mourning the incident.
It is to be noted that, the accused of 26/11 terror attack, including mastermind and banned terror outfit Jamat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed, is yet to be arrested. It clearly shows that Pakistan is not keen on bringing them to justice. The United States has offered a reward of $10 million for information that could bring Saeed to justice.
While campaigning for Rajasthan elections, Modi promised to bring perpetrators behind the bar. “India will never forget 26/11 attack, and neither forget the perpetrators. Justice will surely be done, I want to assure the country.”
Hitting back at Congress leader’s comment asking for his father, he said, “People’s issues do not bother Congress… As the elections are approaching, Congress asks for my caste… They are curious about my father…”
