On Friday i.e. December 25 Prime Minister Narendra Modi unleased the whopping sum of Rs 18,000 crore as the next installment as financial benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme in the bank accounts of nine crore farmers. PM while addressing the farmers also spoke about the protest and stated that some parties are pushing political agenda against the new Farm Law.
Today, Prime Minister had a virtual interaction session with farmers from around six states. PM-KISAN scheme is a fine example of the efficiency of direct cash transfer. More than Rs 1.10 lakh crore have been delivered to farmers’ bank accounts in multiple instalments under this scheme so far, he revealed. Here check out major points from his address:
