PM Modi tweets on Nagrota encounter: 4 terrorists planning major attack neutralised
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted on the Nagrota Encounter. Four suspected Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists were killed and two policemen injured in a gunbattle in Nagrota on Thursday. This happened after security forces intercepted a truck carrying infiltrated militants.
The JeM terrorists were carrying a huge cache of arms and ammunition. Weapons including 11 AK 47 rifles, 29 hand grenade, some pistols, RDF guns and other explosives have been recovered from the truck.

Neutralising of 4 terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed and the presence of large cache of weapons and explosives with them indicates that their efforts to wreak major havoc and destruction have once again been thwarted.

As per intelligence reports, the Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists killed in an encounter were planning a big terror operation on the anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attack. The PM on Friday had held a review meeting with the top security brass, including Home Minister Amit Shah.
The meeting was also attended by NSA Ajit Doval, foreign secretary and top intelligence officials. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took stock of the situation.
