Anil Kumble introduced Yo Yo test to the Indian cricketing circuit. It was in his regime the revolution came into effect. He indicated that fitness test’s should be executed by Yo Yo test. There are many players who haven’t been able to pass this test resulting in ostracism from sides even after procuring great form. Former NCA Director, Sandeep Patil shows his grief expressing Yo yo test not being the only thing to decide a players fitness.
The game of cricket has infinite angles and attributes. There is no end when it comes to understand this beautiful game. Many cricket pandits are frequently heard saying that they are unaware of the entire D/L method set up. It seems highly unfathomable and irrelevant at times. Sanju Samson also faced the axe from India A squad after failing to clear this test.
