Pixel 3 Xl; specs and design leaked online
While Samsung announced its latest phone in the Galaxy Note series, Galaxy Note 9, users were patiently waiting for the two biggest smartphone giants to butt heads: Google and Apple. The Pixel 3 and 3 XL will be facing off with the 2nd gen iPhone X, iPhone X Plus, and 6.1-inch LCD iPhone. Yet, while the previous two Pixel phones have met with excitement and good reviews. For Pixel 3 the users have a great deal of hesitation, mostly because of its design and also because of some of its specs.
If phoneArena’s calculations are correct, we might be looking at a whopping 6.7 inches, up from last year’s 6.4.
As expected, it’s running on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 but paired with just 4 GB RAM and possibly 64 GB of storage only. Then there’s the 3,430 mAh battery, down from the Pixel 2 XL’s 3,520 mAh.
The new Pixel phone was expected to sport three cameras but now there are only two cameras, a 12 megapixel on the back and 8 megapixels in front. The back also hints at a slight design change where the colour contrast between two sections of the rear is more subtle now.
In a way, the Google Pixel 3, especially this Pixel 3 XL, is making drastic changes in the Pixel line while keeping some things very much the same. One has to wait and watch whether this formula works around this time, or not.
