Tamannaah Bhatia, who is popularly known as “Milky Beauty” has finally finished her upcoming horror comedy film Petromax. Directed by Rohin Venkatesan and produced by Passion Studion, Petromax is a remake of Telugu film Anando Brahma. According to reports, this will also be dubbed in the Telugu language.
Taking to the microblogging site, Rohin Venkatesan has thanked the entire cast of Petromax and team for making this fun. He also thanked R Chandru for making a wonderful poster. Check out his tweet below:
The first look of Petromax is out, where Tamannaah is sitting in a chair and the world around her is upside down. The unusual title means Paraffin Lamp. According to the reports, the movie is about old lamps. The poster of Petromax is unveiled by none other than beautiful actress Kajal Aggarwal.

Tamannaah Bhatia has been a part of horror movies before. After the success of Devi and Devi 2, the actress is comfortable in playing roles in the horror genre. The name of the movie is turning heads of the fans!
Petromax stars Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat, TSK and Sathyan in pivotal roles. Ghibran is composing the music of the film. According to the report, the movie is in its post-production stage.
In an interview with Times of India, director Rohin Venkatesan said, “We have shot the film in Chennai and Karaikudi. This is a family drama and the story doesn’t go out of the house. Tamannaah plays a lovable daughter, and she also brings the horror and drama elements to the film, while the other four characters played by Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat, TSK and Sathyan work on the comedy.”
