Pearl V Puri Case: Victim’s Mother Breaks Silence After Parents Identity Revealed On Social Media

TV actor Pearl V Puri got embroiled in the controversy after he was arrested by the Police for the alleged molestation charges. After the identity of the parents of the girl was revealed on social media recently, the girl’s mother breaks her silence on the case. Earlier on a phone call with Ekta Kapoor, the mother was heard supporting Pearl and she had stated that the actor is innocent and she has accused her estranged husband of fake allegations. On Monday, the victim’s mother has put forward her stand through a social media post.

In an official statement posted by the victim’s mother, she stated, “A lot of people are calling and asking me to come to the media and speak. My silence should not be construed as my weakness. My respect and faith in the judiciary has made me take this step. Many people have chosen to ridicule me and my daughter in public which is not permissible by law. Publicizing a victim’s name in public is an offence. I choose to remain silent as I am not the complainant in the case. Whatever is true shall come out. The matter is sub Judice and hence I am not speaking to anyone as the custody case is pending in the Highcourt and it’s my earnest request to all that please don’t make a mockery of the legal system as I have given my statement to the concern authorities.”

She concluded her statement by stating, “Let the truth prevail”. 

For the unversed, many Bollywood and TV celebs including Ekta Kapoor, Karishma Tanna who are close to Pearl V Puri have come forward to support him on social media. On Monday, Divya Khosla Kumar even revealed the identity of the parents and shared her thoughts on the controversy. The actor was arrested on Friday(June 4) late at night and he apparently was sent on 14-days of judicial custody by Vasai court. The actor now is said to have got the bail, as reportedly by the media.
